Steinbeis is a transfer network composed of  778 enterprises, namely Steinbeis Transfer Centers, Steinbeis Research Centers, Steinbeis Consulting Centers, Steinbeis Transfer Institutes or legally independent organizations. With services in research and development, consulting, training and employee development and evaluation and expert reports, Steinbeis attained a total turnover of 118 million Euros in 2009. Steinbeis network employes 1358 employees, 755 professors and 3284 contractors.
